Tourists travel to India to experience it for themselves because of the country’s well-known rich cultural legacy and mysticism. India's Cultural Tourism Market Set to Soar to 121.1 million by 2030!

Medical & Wellness Tourism is also Getting Better & Bigger in Gujarat as well India at large. Global healthcare and wellness is an $8 trillion industry, which would require over 100 million health workers in the next 15 years. Now, the Medical Tourism in India has further expanded in its scope and regarded much as clinical, whereas Wellness Tourism encompasses both spiritual and clinical needs of the tourists to keep them in a right frame of health and mind. There is a great potential to further expand the Wellness Tourism framework in India. The Naturopathy, Yoga and Meditation can be promoted as tourism products. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given a good start for evangelizing yoga, and even got the UN to declare the International Day of Yoga. But this needs to be taken to the next level. If we are going to own yoga, we must own it around the world.

As per the Indian government report, travel and tourism is the largest service industry in India. It is expected that the tourism sector contribution to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) will grow at the rate of 7.0% yearly in the period 2013-2024 and this number can be increased if the Adventure travel improved significantly because it will be going to be major factor to increase the Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTA) resulting in growth of overall economy. Adventure tourism is growing exponentially in India over the past few years with local and foreign tourists visiting destinations previously undiscovered. This allows for new & unpopular destinations in different states of India to market themselves as truly unique, appealing to those travellers looking for rare, incomparable adventure experiences.

India has a significant geographical advantage owing to its rich natural & Eco-tourism resources. Ecotourism is now globally recognised as a powerful tool for the conservation of forests, biodiversity/ wildlife and scenic landscapes. It does so by creating sustainable alternative livelihoods for forest-dependent communities and by generating conservation awareness among the masses and decision-makers. India's sustainable-tourism market was valued at $26.01 million in 2022 and is expected to rise to $151.88 million by 2032 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.3%,

Film tourism also has a scope to generate $3 billion by 2022 in India as there is potential for up to 1 million film tourists to visit the country by 2022 according to the latest report of E&Y.

Sports tourism is a fundamental axis, generating around 10% of the world’s expenditure on tourism. It has an estimated growth rate of 17.5% between 2023-2030, moving masses intra and intercontinentally. Sports tourism can promote social, economic and environmental action, it accelerates development and can leave a long-lasting positive legacy. India’s sports tourism market which currently values at US$ 10,870.41 million, is expected to surge at an incredible CAGR of 17.1% and is predicted to be valued at US$ 52,967 million

Meetings Incentives Conferences Exhibitions (MICE) Tourism continues to be one of the major revenue spinners of modern times.
